Pure Gum has excellent abrasion resistance and tensile strength. Soft, highly abrasion resistant Natural Rubber sheet used when resiliency, wear and cushioning are required. Generally resistant to water, average concentration acids and bases, alcohols and keytones. Not recommended for ozone or oil resistance.

 

NR or Natural Rubber Polyisoprene.
It is obtained as latex liquid which comes from rubber trees. Of the different species that contain the liquid, only the Hevea Brasiliensis is commercially exploited. 

• Excellent mechanical properties. 

• Available in a wide range of hardnesses from 35°to 90°Sh.A.

• Low compression set and high resilience.
• Excellent dynamic and rebound properties.
• Temperature range: -50º C to +90º C.
• Resistance to chemicals; good resistance to acids, alkalis and salts. Its contact with oils and hydrocarbons is not advisable
